Quit-vaping support for your organisation
QuitVaping helps adults stop vaping at their own pace, without going back to cigarettes. We're working with a small number of councils, Stop Smoking Services, employers and schools on pilots for early 2027, and our tools are free to use and share now.
Councils and Stop Smoking Services
A digital option for residents who want help to stop vaping, that signposts to your local service and never steers ex-smokers back to cigarettes.
Employers
Private, practical support for staff who want to stop vaping, as part of your wellbeing or occupational health offer.
Schools and colleges
A free schools pack for staff, and a guide for parents. Students are signposted to the school nurse, GP and local services.
Why quit-vaping support, and why now?
About 5.5 million adults in Great Britain vape, and around 2 million of them have tried to stop (ASH, 2026). About 1 in 5 who tried used cigarettes to get off the vape. Smoking is far more harmful than vaping, so the way people stop vaping matters as much as whether they do. Since 1 October 2026 the new vape duty has made vaping more expensive, and from 29 October every vape is 18+, so more people are thinking about stopping.
What we offer
- The QuitVaping programme for adults: a personal plan (step down or stop on a date), a vape-free counter, help in the moment for cravings, a daily check-in and 30 short daily emails. Pilots start in early 2027.
- Co-branded access for your residents or staff, with your local services and contacts built in.
- Simple reporting on how many people join and finish, as totals only. No individual's health information is ever shared with you.
- Free tools you can use today: the embeddable vape savings calculator for your own website, the schools pack and the parents' guide.
- Briefings for staff who talk to people about vaping, such as HR, occupational health, pastoral and family support teams.
How we work
- Smoke-free first. Every plan tells ex-smokers that going back to cigarettes is the one move to avoid. People who vape to stay off cigarettes can take as long as they need.
- Evidence-based and clinically reviewed. Our health content follows NCSCT guidance, NICE guideline NG209 and NHS advice, and is reviewed by named clinicians before it's published.
- Private by design. Cravings, slips and check-ins stay on the person's own device. We collect only what's needed to run accounts and emails.
- Independent. We take no money from the vape, tobacco or nicotine-pouch industries, and never advertise or link to their products.
- Complements local services. We signpost to Stop Smoking Services, pharmacists and GPs for nicotine replacement, medicines and face-to-face support.
- Adults only. The programme is for people aged 18 and over. For under-18s we provide signposting only, with no medicine or nicotine replacement advice.
Common questions
Is QuitVaping part of the NHS?
No. We're independent, and our health content follows NHS, NICE and NCSCT guidance. We point people to their local Stop Smoking Service and other NHS support.
What does it cost?
Our tools and guides are free for everyone. For pilots in 2027 we'll agree terms with each partner. Tell us what you need and we'll talk it through.
Can we put the calculator on our own website?
Yes, for free. Get the embed code.
What about data protection?
We're happy to share our data protection approach and support your own assessment. Health information stays on people's devices by default, and anything we report to partners is in totals only.
